We begin our session this morning.
Please rise and recite the Pledge of Allegiance. I pledge
allegiance to the flag of the United States of America. And
to the republic for which it stands, one nation, under God,
indivisible with liberty and justice for all.
I would like to introduce myself. My name is Dr. George
Muenster. Welcome to our first meeting of RAMA. We celebrate
a milestone in history in America today, so that our efforts
will continue to progress into the future.
The person who is responsible for organizing this event and
RAMA, had spent countless hours, weeks, months, and several
years to be where we are today. His name is Dr. Boris Vinogradsky,
I am sure you will hear from him later.
The purpose of this organization is to promote collegiality,
teaching, research, humanitarian efforts, involvement in our
residency program, training and location of availability of
employment and private practices. To provide the highest caliber
of professional ethics and patient care. The RAMA organization
is American, with Russian heritage. It is open for physicians,
dentists, podiatrists, nurse practioners, P.A.'s, and scientists
in human sciences of Russian heritage, and students of human
science.
I would like to thank Mrs. Cindy Moore Hardy, our administrator
at Lake Hospital System, for allowing us to use this facility.
Lake Hospital System delivers high caliber medical care to
this community, making its modern technology above reproach.
In this extremely competitive environment, we are an independent
health delivery system in this area and other surrounding
areas.
I was told for many years that Cleveland is the best location
in the nation. This may be so, considering our prestigious
places such as: University Hospitals, Case Western Reserve
Medical School, The Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Cleveland
Orchestra, Playhouse Square Center, various museums, Rock
and Roll Hall of Fame, and of course our Cleveland: Browns,
Indians, and Cavaliers. Not to mention various recreational
areas such as the Flats, the Warehouse District, and countless
restaurants such as: Russian Tea Room, Red Square, Sherwins,
and Eugene's. We also retain many Russian physicians, their
offices, and countless places of employment such as: Home
Health Care, and ambulette services.
This morning we are privileged to have with us Dr. Cudink
, plastic surgeon and president of the staff LHS. I am sure
you will hear from him later. My gratitude to Astra Zeneca,
Endo, and Pfizer
Pharmaceuticals who generously provided for breakfast, lunch,
dinner, and other expenses.
And now I am turning the
podium to Dr. Boris Vinogradsky
