Journal. Negotiations continued with Michael Feinstein
- the publisher and producer from Russian Media Company.
We are awaiting the numbers of the proposed budget for
the first issue of the Journal, planned to be published
on time for the Conference in September. Exact plans will
be made after the budget is available. Planned materials
will include information about the Conference, about R-AMA,
as well as abstracts and articles of presentations for
the Conference, information about membership, classifieds,
advertisement, information about our partners, sponsors,
their products etc. Nikolay Vasilyev, MD is in charge
of this project.
State Chapters. There is an idea to create
separate chapters of R-AMA in the states with 5-10 members
representation. Those chapters will become local branches
of R-AMA and coordinators of those groups will form
the R-AMA's Council of the States. Board members supported
this idea, although it still requires time and a lot
more work.
