2. Ohio Chapter/Winter meeting
Dr. George Muenster presented a short report about the Winter meeting and the New Years Ball of the Ohio Chapter of the Association that took place on the 17th of December of 2004 in the Russian Tea Room in Cleveland, OH. We had over 120 attendees from Ohio and surrounding states. We have support from several major drug companies. Full report is published on the web site.

3. Scholarship/Grants and Awards

R-AMA is ready to sponsor two winners of the Russian National Student Scientific Paper Contest to visit the US in 2005. The contest was organized by the 1st Moscow Medical Academy and we yet have to receive the names of the winners.

4. R-AMA Journal – 2nd issue

We will make a Call for Abstracts for the second issue in the early 2005. If you have material, which you want to publish, please, submit it to the Editorial Board of R-AMA.

5. Planning for the 3rd National Conference

Updates on the progress in preparations for the 3rd National R-AMA Conference were discussed. The conference is planned for October 2005 in Washington, DC.

6. R-AMA membership fees

We have to collect membership fees for the 2005 financial year to fulfill our obligations to the IRS.

7. R-AMA Help Initiative/MMR
Drs. Vladimir Bogin, Gregory Chernyak and Igor Efimov
We are working on the organization of R-AMA educational mission to Russia. The 3rd Moscow Medical Institute agreed to host the trip and we will keep you posted on the new developments.

8. Online payments for R-AMA membership are available now.

9. New potential chapters: Missouri, Indiana, California

We have been working with those three states to form separate R-AMA chapters. The first meeting of the Indiana chapter is scheduled for April 2005.

10. RADA meeting
