Default ON-LINE degree being outside the US->job offer->WORK

or How to get the necessary certificate being outside the US in order to get job offer later.
(I saw some concerning about what to do in transitional period (I mean before USMLE is done).)

it's might be usefull for those who outside the US. Perhaps, if they need nurses they might be in high demand for NA and MA.

I think one option is to get affordable initial the US degree online since they require certifacates for every position higher than janitor's one.

After 6-8 weeks there are possibility to to get Nursing Assistant and Medical Assistant the US certificate.
http://www.medassistant.org/
http://nursingassistant.us/
tuition fee is now only $645 and discounted rate of $485 for groups of 2 or more students (I know 1 person who want to join, so you can save).

There are must be some online programs for initial RN degrees, did not find yet.

I would be grateful for suggestions and any thoughts about it from those who KNOWS.

(and if there are such online programs that lead to RN indeed exist, there are might be hospitals that interested in and can provide sponsorship)

The market is overwhealmed with online/live courses that offer medical assistant, medical transcriptionist, nursing assistant courses. Even though there is a shortage of nurses, it's hard to find a position of medical assistant. Those that are offered require 5 years of experience.

A few years ago nursing schools in the USA took every single applicant in, even with "in progress" prerequisites; these days schools receive 100-200 applications for 35 or so positions. There is a shortage of nurses, but there are not enough positions in schools to supply enough nurses to the market, that's why hospitals hire nurses from another countries.

I believe there is only one approved program that offers RN online. All others offer RN to BSN or MSN.

RN on line?! For somebody living outside the US?!
RN training is a a 2-4 years of college, so I would be extremly weary about such on-line course... They can sell you Brooklyn Bridge and booths at NJ Turnpike too...
MA, DA - Ok, that's doable, but RN...

I was very supprised when I saw it in the list of accredited progs. I think RN programs are mostly clinical training programs and should remain so.

Even for MA and DA-all of those programs do require hands-on training which on-line courses are not able to offer for obvious reasons. therefore I doubt very much they will be able to provide you with a degree of value. Because of that I would side with Dr.Mom in terms of being extremely cautious. Unless you've got money burning holes in your pockets.

Right on, the website was www.allnursingschools.com , but now they don't have that RN online program listed. Only RN to BSN. So, they don't have it anymore.

most probably you are right. I also found LPN -> RN only.
what made me search and ask...there is a company that tryin to export nurses from Russia (i guess there are many of them).
Actually company originates from TX. They hired also many doctors and told them that they will sponsor them to pass through a such accelereated RN online program in order to get h1. the intention was to make the school count skills and experiance and fill the gap via online prog.

(i think they just misinformed on purpose, in order to avoid negative impression). Why doctors- because they were considered to have more learning potential.

Moreover...

The same com offered to surgeons that they can get work without any(!) USMLE.
"By law you need Licence only to work on American soil, but we want to offer you work off shore on American oil stations (so not on American soil) with the the US visa and wages".

I too don’t know about online RN course, all I have heard of is online CNA course, but they are good enough and with enough training and several years of experience, CNA’s are promoted and they acquire the position of RN as the job of registered nurses is of much responsibility and that comes with experience itself no course of 6-8 weeks is enough for that. Moreover, if you give a start now you will able to utilize your time efficiently, and after completing the USMLE degree, you can easily get job offers as CNA, followed by RN.
