Why should you support RAMA?

We are the only nationwide organization representing the interests of Russian American medical professionals in the United States and Canada

We work to raise awareness about the importance of health care in Russian-speaking community.

We provide an opportunity for any interested individual to work on his project and we promote exchange of ideas among Russian American medical professionals.

RAMA is four years old. Our current membership stands at more than 300 people that represent almost 40 states of the US and Canada. We have more than 50 partner-organizations that share our goals and ideas and created a network of several thousand medical professionals who live and work in the US, Canada, Russia, Israel, Germany, South Africa etc.

Since inception we have organized 3 national conferences and multiple CME lectures and seminars on a variety of medical topics. All of our CME credits are given in English and AMA certified. Our speakers are recognized xperts from different health specialties.

In 2005 we signed a cooperation agreement with Russian American Dental Association. This was the most important step in our development as an organization so far. In September 2006 we will hold our 4th Joint National Conference in New York City. We are planning for the future conferences and hope to organize the 1st International conference of AMA and RADA in Moscow in the spring of 2007. During our 5th National Conference in 2007 in Chicago we will elect our representative to the House of Delegates of the American Medical Association. This will be done for the first time in the history of Russian medicine in America. We want our united voices to be heard.

We plan to bring Russian doctors and students to the US for training and internships.

We cannot do this all without the support of our members and sponsors. Annual Membership dues are $100 for doctors; $50 for other medical professionals and $15 for students. All membership dues and donations are tax deductible. We waive membership dues for members with no income.
